Michael Tyler (Licensee) appeals from an order of the Court of Common Pleas of Susquehanna County (trial court) denying his appeal of five consecutive one-year license suspensions imposed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). In this case, we consider whether 75 Pa.C.S. § 1532(a) 1 authorizes PennDOT to impose a one year suspension for each of five counts of aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, where five individuals were injured in a single accident.
