Victor L. Davis, Jr., was found guilty of contempt under Code § 18.2-456(5) * for failing to produce certain documents subpoenaed by a special grand jury, and he was sentenced to four months in jail and fined $500.

The record shows that a special grand jury was impanelled by the court below on May 25, 1977. Immediately thereafter, the foreman, acting under Code § 19.2-208, issued a subpoena duces tecum directing Davis to appear before the grand jury with certain specified documents of Davis Truck & Auto Supply, Inc. and/or Tractor & Truck Parts, Inc., at 2:00 p.m. on May 25.
