The plaintiff brought an action of ■ejectment to try his title to certain wild and unoccupied lands. He bases his claim to them upon a conveyance from the Amboy, Lansing & Traverse Bay Railroad Company to one Henry Day, while defendant claims title under .an Auditor General's deed for delinquent taxes for the years 1874 to 1880, inclusive, excepting those for the year 1875.
