This is a suit by ap-pellee, Ben C. Richards, against appellant, the National Union Fire Insurance Company, of Pittsburgh, Pa., to recover on a fire insurance policy issued to him by appellant covering a certain two-story, shingle roof, frame building, occupied by a tenant. Appellee alleged that said building was totally destroyed by fire, and that appellant, by reason thereof, became liable to him for the sum of $6,000, the amount specified in said policy.
