The petitioner, a resident and taxpayer of the city of Buffalo, in this proceeding has sought by a mandamus order to compel the council of the city of Buffalo, the head of the department of public works and the head of the bureau of streets, to remove from the public streets of the city certain gasoline supply pumps particularly described in the petition, and all others of a similar character, as unlawful obstructions.
