Defendants were jointly charged and tried for second-degree murder, CL 1948, § 750.317 (Stat Ann 1954 Rev § 28.549). The jury convicted William Joseph Wright as charged and it convicted Gerald Emanuel Wright of manslaughter, CL 1948, § 750.321 (Stat Ann 1954 Rev § 28.553). Following sentence, defendants appeal.
