Under authority of Act 292 of 1926, the Louisiana Public Service Commission granted a certificate of public convenience and necessity to the Motor Freight Lines, Inc., authorizing the corporation to operate a motor freight line over the state highway between New Orleans and Baton Rouge, via Oak Grove, Gonzales, and Burnside.
