Appeal from Sebastian Circuit Court, Greenwood District; Styles T. Rowe, Judge; John McLean was convicted of violating Acts 1899, c. 219, known as the Screen Law. It was agreed that he violated the terms of the statute, and the only question raised by the appeal is whether the act is valid. The act is in violation of the State Constitution, art. 2, § § 2, 3, 8, 29. And of the Federal Constitution, 14th Amendment, § 1. Similar statutes have been declared unconstitutional.
