Nam Xuan Ngo was indicted on twenty-four counts of possessing counterfeit securities in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 513, nine counts of money laundering in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1956(a)(1), and one count of conspiracy to commit these offenses in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371. Ngo pled guilty to one count of possession and the district court 1 sentenced him to thirty months in prison and two years of supervised release.
