A jury convicted appellant of first-degree murder, three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of destroying property, possession of a firearm during a crime of violence or dangerous offense, carrying a pistol without a license, possession of an unregistered firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition, in violation of D.C.Code §§ 22-2401, -3202, -502, -403, - 3204(b), -3204(a) (1989 Repl. & 1995 Supp.); D.C.Code §§ 6-2311(a), -2361(3) (1995 Repl.).
