While traveling over the line of railway owned by the Illinois Central Railroad Company, H. T. Nelson claims to have lost a suit case and contents, through the negligence of the company, valued at two hundred and twenty-seven dollars, or thereabouts, and the object of this suit is to compel reimbursement by the company. The cause is here on the pleadings, and the-case made is about as follows, viz.: Mr. Nelson alleges in his declaration that he procured transportation over the Illinois Central Railroad from Memphis, Tenn., to Durant, Miss.
