In an action to recover damages for medical malpractice, the defendants Regina Hammock, Linda Doyle, and Island Medical Fhysicians, EC., appeal, as limited by their brief, from so much *656of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Phelan, J.), dated January 11, 2008, as granted that branch of the plaintiffs motion which was for leave to serve a “supplemental” summons and complaint upon them nunc pro tunc, and denied their cross motion to dismiss the action insofar as asserted against them as time-barred.
Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law, with costs,…
