Represented by counsel (the Partnership for Children’s Rights), plaintiff Lyn-nel Gomes brings this action on behalf of her minor child, C.R. (“Christopher”), pursuant to § 205(g) of the Social Security Act (the “Act”), 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), challenging the final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (“the Commissioner”) to deny Christopher Supplemental Security Income benefits.
