Edward L. Hoeber was convicted of two counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, section 566.062.1 Mr. Hoeber subsequently filed a Rule 29.15 motion for postconviction relief alleging that his trial counsel was ineffective for failing to object to verdict directors that violated his constitutional right to a unanimous jury verdict and for failing to hire an expert to testify at the sentencing hearing.
