This case involves a claim by a bank against an accounting firm based on faulty information prepared by the accounting firm which was relied upon by the bank to its detriment. KPMG Peat Marwick (KPMG), an accounting firm, seeks review of a Court of Appeals decision affirming the jury verdict awarding damages in favor of Seattle-First National Bank (Seafirst).
