Barbara Hildebrand (petitioner) and Thomas Hildebrand (respondent) were married on June 8, 1982. The circuit court of Madison County granted petitioner’s prayer for dissolution on April 29, 1985, and awarded her, inter alia, child support of $500 per month and $12,000 of rehabilitative maintenance payable in installments of $500 per month.
