Katherine Markar, administratrix, and Joseph Rakowski, appellees, sued 'for loss of life of the former’s intestate, and for personal injuries to the latter which were occasioned by the collision of a motorcar, in which both were passengers, and a train, on January 18, 1933, at 6:30 p. m., while cross*283ing the appellant’s railroad tracks on Columbia avenue in the town of Willimantic, Conn.
