August 23, 1909, plaintiff, Marie Kimpel, brought suit against defendant, Oklahoma Fire Insurance Company, to recover damages in the sum of $27,000 on-account of the alleged false arrest and imprisonment of said plaintiff by defendant. Trial -being had, a verdict for plaintiff in the sum of $2,500 was returned on the 20th day of December, 1910. Motion for new trial being filed, the same was' heard and overruled, and on the 7th day-of January, 1911, judgment rendered on the verdict; the defendant being given 90 days in which to prepare and serve case-made for appeal, ten…
