On November 26, 2002, Michael Kinney (“Kinney”) was involved in a motor vehicle accident in Craig County, Oklahoma. Kinney filed a claim for workers’ compensation benefits under the Missouri Workers’ Compensation Law for the injuries he sustained in the accident. In the workers’ compensation proceeding, Kinney named his employer, Service Vending Company, Inc. (“SVC”), as the respondent.
