Joseph Ekeland appeals from the district court’s affirmance of the Secretary’s denial of his claim for Social Security disability benefits under Title II of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 401-433 (1982). We reverse and remand.
BACKGROUND
Ekeland, 58, claims disability based on the side effects of radiation therapy he received for a brain tumor. From 1972 to 1986, he worked as a banker, insurance agent, and farm manager in Somers, Iowa. In 1984, he was diagnosed as having an inoperable, malignant brain tumor and underwent thirty-three radiation treatments.…
