ORDER

In March 2012 sheriffs deputies executed a writ of assistance directing that Travis Davis and his property be removed from a residence in Indianapolis, Indiana. Davis had owned the house, but it was sold at a sheriffs sale to satisfy a personal judgment against him. When the deputies arrived they found Davis and a woman inside the garage. She departed voluntarily after gathering her purse and a duffel bag from inside the house. But Davis refused to leave and was arrested.
