Robert Peter Ewing (claimant) filed a claim petition in accord with the provisions of The Pennsylvania Workmen’s Compensation Act (Act), Act of June 2, 1915, P.L. 736, as amended, 77 P.S. §1 e,t seq., seeking benefits for a serious and permanent disfigurement not usually incident to his employment and arising from an injury he sustained on September 9, 1973 during the course of his employment with the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation.
