The appellees filed- a bill in equity in the circuit court for Jackson county against the appellant individually and as surviving partner of the late firm •of Jordan & Patrick, composed of J. O. Jordan -and M. Y. Patrick, in which it is alleged in substance that Green B. Kirkland died intestate leaving seven of the appellees as his heirs; that at his death' said Green B. Kirkland was ■seized and possessed of certain described lands in Jackson county, Florida; that said Ansel W. Kirkland was .appointed and qualified as administrator of the estate of Green B.
