George E. Lloyd, while acting as assignee of the R. S. Dickie Manufacturing Company, in pursuance of a voluntary assignment for the benefit of creditors, was authorized by the county court of Cook county, in which the assignment was being administered, to continue the business of the insolvent, and to advance to the estate or to borrow for the use of said business any such sums as in his judgment might be for the best interests of the estate and the operation and preservation thereof.
