Edward M. Miller, guardian of the estate of Samuel Letizia, a minor, brought suit in the superior court of Cook county against the Chicago and Northwestern Railway Company, the Pennsylvania Railroad Company and the Pittsburg, Cincinnati, Chicago and St. Louis Railroad Company, to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by Letizia. Each of the defendants filed a plea of the general issue and a special plea of non-ownership, non-possession and non-operation in manner and form as alleged in the declaration.
