MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

HAIGHT, District Judge:

In a case demonstrating that Lord Palmerston’s mid-nineteenth century, simplex munditiis view of national self-interest 1 has continuing vitality in the jet age, plaintiff Civil Aeronautics Board (“C.A.B.” or the “Board”) sues to enjoin defendant British Airways Board, doing business as British Airways, from violating the Federal Aviation Act of 1958, as amended, 49 U.S.C. §§ 1301 et seq.
