Melvin A. Wider was indicted on one count of possessing more than five grams of cocaine base (crack) with intent to distribute, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a) and (b)(l)(B)(iii). After his motion to suppress evidence was denied, Wider entered a conditional plea of guilty on that count and was sentenced to 210 months’ imprisonment.
