A. D. Wass and George O. Flavel bring this suit against the British ship Allegiance upon a cause of salvage, civil and maritime, for salvage service rendered by them to said ship with the aid of the steam tugs Brenham, Astoria, and Columbia, and their officers and crews, on January 10 and 11, 1879, in and near the north channel of the Columbia river, between black buoy No. 5 and the east end of Sand island.
