Patterson, J.:

This is an action for deceit, the complaint setting forth two causes of, action founded upon alleged false representations of the defendant by reason of which the plaintiff was induced to enter into a contract with a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Maine, and in which corporation, it was further alleged, the defendant was the sole person financially interested.
