ERICKSTAD, Chief Justice.
Timothy Grotte appealed from a district court judgment affirming the dismissal of his claim for benefits by the North Dakota Workers Compensation Bureau, because the claim was untimely filed. We affirm.
Between October 1985 and July 1988, Grotte worked as a field technician for Phillips Petroleum Company (Phillips). Grotte’s job required him to work around chemicals that irritated his lungs.
