Affirming.
Prior to the year 1904 C. B. Slemp, John Mayo, and others had organized five or six coal companies, which were known as the “Slemp Interests,” for the purpose of buying coal lands in eastern Kentucky, and so contracted for and purchased something over 80,000 acres of- such land in Perry, Leslie -and other counties in eastern Kentucky.
