In a jury trial, Steven Speed was convicted of the offense of unlawful possession of more than 30 and less than 500 grams of a substance containing cannabis (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 56%, par. 704(d)) and sentenced to 18 months’ probation, 90 days to be served in the county jail.
