The plaintiff appeals from an order granting a new trial or in the alternative a remittitur. We affirm.

The action was based upon a collision between the plaintiff's automobile which was struck from the rear by the defendant's truck. The plaintiff, a resident of Demopolis, alleged negligence on the defendant's part which proximately resulted in personal injuries. Trial ensued, and at the close of the evidence the defendant admitted liability, thus leaving the amount of damages as the sole issue for the jury's determination.
