Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court
Thomas Boylston, formerly of Boston, went to England, by permission of the government of Massachusetts, during the revolutionary war, and there died in the year 1798, having made his will, by which he bequeathed the greater part of his estate to the town of Boston, for certain charitable uses, and made the selectmen of Boston trustees of the said estate.

This action is brought before the Court by appeal from the Court of Probate in this county.
Thomas Boylston, formerly of Boston, removed from hence to London several years before his death. There he lived, made his will, and died. Administration, after his death, was granted by the archbishop of Canterbury to the respondent, with the will annexed.
