— Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Torres, J.), rendered January 23, 1980, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of grand larceny in the third degree, criminal possession of stolen property in the second and third degrees, and petit larceny, and sentencing him to a term of two to four years, to run consecutively to a previous undischarged sentence, affirmed. In response to defendant’s Sandoval motion (People v Sandoval, 34 NY2d 371) the trial court ruled that it would permit the District Attorney to cross-examine the defendant with regard to the number of felony and misdemeanor…
