This is an alternative writ of mandamus, which seeks to restore the relator, Robert B. Keyser, to the position of schoolteacher in Grammar School No. 3 of .this city. The facts, appear to he substantially as follows, viz.: In April, 1897, charges were preferred against the relator, who was an assistant teacher, before the hoard of school superintendents, and by it referred to its committee on school management, composed of members of said board.
