Justice WALLER:

This Court granted the State’s petition for a writ of certiorari to review the grant of post-conviction relief (PCR) to respondent Ralph Delahoussaye. We affirm in part, and reverse in part.

FACTS

On March 9, 1976, a jury convicted respondent of armed robbery, and the trial court sentenced him to 25 years imprisonment. This Court affirmed respondent’s conviction on November 12, 1976. State v.
