The first point, in the natural order of this case, arises out of the proof offered by the plaintiff of his title to the land in question. It is objected, that the deed from Dickinson to him is void for want of a sufficient description. There is an inconsistency in the description of the land conveyed, in this particular : the first boundary given, or the starting point, is on the south or west bank of the stream, on which the defendant’s mills are located.
