BEACH, J.

The plaintiff, Antonio Colon, appeals from the judgment of dismissal rendered by the trial court following its granting of the motion filed by the defendant, the state of Connecticut, judicial branch, to dismiss the plaintiffs complaint for failure to follow certain pleading requirements. We conclude that the defects raised in the motion to dismiss were circumstantial rather than substantive and, as such, the motion was improperly granted. Accordingly, we reverse the judgment of the trial court.
