Nicholaus McDonald appeals his conviction for two counts of second degree murder. We affirm.

FACTS

I

The Murders

On August 11, 1995, McDonald and his boyfriend, Brian Bassett, executed their week-old plan to steal money and an automobile from Bassett’s parents, to kill Bassett’s parents if they were home, and to drive to California. They went to Bassett’s parents’ home in McCleary. Bassett entered first and fatally shot his father and mother, Michael and Wendy Bassett.
