A jury convicted appellant, Kyong M. McLean, of prostitution. 1 After the jury found appellant guilty, the State and appellant agreed to a sentence of ten days in jail and a fíne of two thousand dollars. In four issues, appellant argues that the comments concerning prostitution made by the trial court during voir dire: (1) tainted the presumption of innocence to which she was entitled; (2) abrogated the trial court’s obligation to act as an impartial arbiter; (3) impermissibly conveyed the trial court’s opinion of the case to the jury and were reasonably…
