This appeal is from two judgments entered in two cases which were consolidated in the trial court. The facts disclosed by the pleadings and the evidence are, in substance, as follows: On May 27, 1920, W. L. Morgan, one of the appellants, filed in the office of the secretary of state an application for a permit to promote and sell stock in a corporation to be organized and chartered under the laws of the state of Texas in accordance with what was then known as the "Blue Sky Law" (Gen.
