The commission council of the city of New Orleans adopted the following ordinance:

“No. 3283 Commission Council Series.
“Whereas Mrs. Eve Christine Butterworth, widow of John Dibert, in order to perpetuate the memory of her departed husband, and, at the same time, bestow a great benefaction upon an unfortunate class of our citizens, suffering from a dread disease, which it is her aim as well as that of the city of New Orleans to adopt all measures for its treatment and eradication, has proposed to co-operate with the city of New Orleans in the establishment, maintenance and operation by the…
