Plaintiff and Counterdefendant, Roger R. Crane, Jr.
(“Crane” or “Plaintiff’), filed this action against Defendant and Counterclaimant, Poetic Products Limited (“PPL” or “Defendant”), seeking a declaratory judgment that his play, The Last Confession, does not infringe the copyright of Defendant’s book, In God’s Name: An Investigation into the Murder of Pope John Paul I, under the laws of both the United States and the United Kingdom.
