CLARK, Supernumerary Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgment of the Circuit Court of Cullman County adjudging appellant-defendant guilty of arson in the first degree and sentencing him “ . . .to life in the penitentiary of the State of Alabama as punishment . ” The judgment was duly rendered and the sentence imposed by the court after a jury had found appellant-defendant guilty as charged in a three-count indictment, to which he had pleaded not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity.
