McMURRAY, Presiding Judge.

Defendant was charged with the offenses of burglary, theft by taking and false report of a crime. The evidence adduced at a jury trial reveals that the victim interrupted a burglary at his residence at about 4:15 in the afternoon on January 17, 1995. The victim testified that, upon approaching the driveway to his house, he observed a man running through the front yard, noticed the front door to his house was “fully open” and discovered a “strange car” parked in the driveway.
