This suit was instituted by J. M. Broadhurst in the District Court of Dallas County, Forty-fourth Judicial District of Texas, against the Dallas Consolidated Electric Street Railway Company, for damages claimed to have been sustained on account of personal injuries. Plaintiff alleges that on the 30th day of July, 1900, he attempted to board one of the defendant’s street cars on Lamar street, near the point where the street railway crosses the Texas & Pacific Railway, with the intention of becoming a passenger of the defendant company; that the car was standing…
