Plaintiff, as assignee of the lessors in a written lease with the defendant as lessee, sued the defendant for rent claimed to be owing the plaintiff under said lease. It was executed November 15, 1946, bn certain store property located at 7758 and 7760 West Vernor highway in Detroit, to-be used by the defendant in a retail business.
