The Klamath Irrigation District is a quasi-municipal corporation organized, under the laws of the state of Oregon, for the purpose of dealing with the United States Government relative to waters to be used in irrigating certain lands within the district and is the successor in interest of what is known as the Klamath Water Users Association, which was a private corporation organized for the purpose of irrigating the lands of the individual members of the association.
