The plaintiff Gary Gordon appeals from a summary judgment entered in favor of the defendant J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. (hereinafter "Hunt"). Our supreme court transferred the appeal to this court, pursuant to § 12-2-7 (6), Ala. Code 1975. We affirm.

On May 19, 1997, Gary Gordon filed a civil action in the Mobile County Circuit Court against Hunt. Gordon's three-count complaint accused Hunt of retaliatory discharge, in violation of § 25-5-11.1, Ala. Code 1975; fraudulent misrepresentation; and suppression of a material fact.
